Åland, between Sweden and Finland is Åland. Its archipelago is spread out from side to side across the Baltic Sea. Especially on the eastern side. This was an important communication link within the former Swedish empire. Nowadays big ferry ships appear during night time like huge, enlighted buildings. We try the link, first ferry ship a couple of hours to the Åland main land, then some nice cruising in great nature. And now we are ready to let the bikes free for twenty kilometers winding roads before entering next little ferry boat still closer to Finland. Rain doesn't matter. Short trips may be great!
