New York, When The Great Bridge was finished in 1883 it was the longest bridge all over the world. It was also the first hanging bridge using steel wire. Brooklyn Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn with the East River in between. I start walking from the Manhattan side and soon there are six lanes of freeway under my feet.
